OUR DOCTOR
Dr. Jeff Sedgewick
Dr. Jeffrey Hunt Sedgewick is a highly accomplished, Board Certified Ophthalmologist and one of the few doctors in the United States to hold both the Medical Doctor (M.D.) and Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degrees. He has been practicing in the Dulles, Virginia area since October 2002.
After Hours Care
Patients whom I anticipate might need access to me after regular business hours are given my personal cell phone number ahead of time. For new Patients or for existing Patients that develop new problems after hours, your best option is to either come to my office at 9:30 AM the next weekday or call the nearest emergency room and ask for the Ophthalmologist on call and meet them at his/ her office. This will avoid needless waiting time in the ER and provide you access to whom you eventually need to see anyway. In addition, most emergency rooms and ER Doctors are not properly equipped or trained to diagnose complex ocular conditions.
